JANET HO
Registered Psychotherapist
Janet Ho is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practicing under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as well as a Professional Art Therapist with the Canadian Art Therapy Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and previously worked at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Addiction Research.
Janet has had the privilege of connecting with people of diverse abilities and backgrounds. Her deep passion for learning led her to work and travel to many different communities in Canada and around the world – gaining diverse perspectives and knowledge about different ways of being.
In her work with clients, Janet brings a trauma-informed, strength-based and solutions-focused approach that nurtures healing, self-awareness, self-expression, play, growth and resilience to lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Some of her focus areas include depression, anxiety, anger, chronic illness, chronic pain, body image concerns, cancer recovery, grief and loss, self-esteem, relational difficulties, impacts of addiction, identity, marginalized experiences, racialized experiences, and traumatic experiences.
